Please note that this season all returning coaches will be required to be fully certified prior to the preseason schedule (September 11, 2010) or have proof of registration in an upcoming clinic for any expired certifications.

On August 27th, 28th and 29th Whitby Minor Hockey Association volunteers will host their 2nd Annual Hockey Equipment Donation/Swap Event in the parking lot of McKinney arena.

  Last year we didn't know what to expect since this was the first time that we organized this event.

2010/11 Player Registration

• Registration is now open - returning players may register online.
• New players to Whitby Minor Hockey may register in person on Monday, August 16th from 7-9pm at Iroquois Park.

Registration Fees

Initiation to Minor Midget (born 1995 to 2006):

• Early Registration fee $475 from March 26th to August 16th.
• Regular Registration fee $575 from August 17th until all teams are complete, or September 1st, which ever comes first.

Midget (born 1991-1994):

• Early Registration fee $475 from March 26th to September 1st.
• Regular Registration fee $575 from September 1st until all spots are filled, or September 15th, which ever comes first.

Registration is limited.  AVOID BEING PLACED ON THE WAIT LIST AND REGISTER EARLY.

Registration and Tryouts

If you intend to tryout for a Midget rep team (AAA, AA, A, AE) in August/September you must be registered with the WMHA for the 2010/11 season, fully paid up for the 2009/10 season, and have purchased a Tryout Passport no later than Wednesday, August 25th.  Please bring your registration confirmation with you to tryouts.

Last year, Whitby welcomed 75 teams to it’s annual Thanksgiving Rep Tournament.  This year, we are offering more guaranteed games (4), more ice time (10-15-15 in the round robin and 15/15/15 in Semi’s & Finals for all ages), more prizes (Championship Banners, Medals, Bag Tags), and great competition across many more divisions.  We expect more then 168 teams to take part from across Ontario, Quebec and the US, and to ensure this becomes the premier tournament experience of the season, we have entered into a partnership with Canlan Classic Tournaments to provide a best in class experience for all participants!
