Please read carefully as the process for tryout payment has changed! The 2010/11 tryouts for Novice through Minor Midget will commence the week of April 12th – the schedule will be posted to the website by mid-March. Prior to commencement of 2010/11 Rep Team Tryouts, all players must purchase a Tryout Passport (new this season). See details inside.

Do you know a youth who likes LEGO and enjoys working with children?
Petar Mijacevic (#17), Coach Dave Couper, and the rest of the Sharks team (Primeau Division, Team #11) would like to formally challenge the rest of the Whitby Minor Hockey Association to raise money in support of Liam's Fight For Sight. Petar's original challenge was to Coach Dave, prompting him to donate $1 for every goal scored by the Sharks.

Whitby Wildcat “Canucks” Win Grafton Novice TournamentTuesday, 23 February 2010  Congratulations to the Whitby Wildcat “Canucks” Novice2 team who participated in the Grafton Novice Hockey tournament on February 6th and skated away with the Championship trophy as the top team. The team went through the 1-day tournament undefeated beating Rice Lake in the opener and then skating to a victory over Mariposa Lightning. |
Peewee Tier 2 Takes Kingston Causeway Classic!Monday, 1 February 2010  The Peewee tier two team won the Kingston Causeway Classic Tournament over the Christmas holidays. The boys went undefeated in the tournament. The players were especially proud of their victory in the final as they defeated another Whitby team who had previously beaten them twice in the regular season games. |
Successful Goaltender Development ProgramThursday, 28 January 2010  This year's Goalie development team put over 40 WMHA goalies through an 8 week development program. Atom AE Wildcats Have Silver Sticks!Friday, 15 January 2010  The Whitby Wildcats Atom AE hockey team was invited to the 11th annual International Silver Stick hockey tournament in Pelham, Ontario, and captured the coveted Silver Stick trophy. Sixteen teams were entered into the Atom division with an even split of eight teams from Ontario and eight teams from the United States. |
