An amazing win at the Georgina Silver Stick Regionals!
Our Wildcats started the day Friday with a 5-2 win against the Toronto Eagles. After relaxing at the movies, they came back to win the second game of the day 5-1 against the Newmarket Redmen.
Saturday proved to be another great win beating the Toronto Avalanche 5-1.
Up early on Sunday morning for the hour drive back to Georgina to play the Semi-final game against the Mississauga Beast with a successful 3-1 win. With a long gap in between games you never know how the second game is going to go. Our Wildcats started the game off strong against the also undefeated Vaughan Rangers. Scoring 3 goals in the first period our team was feeling good. Vaughan was able to score a pair of goals in the second period, but our team held them there and banged in an insurance goal for a 4-2 win.
Congratulations Atom AA Wildcats on a hard played tournament. Off to the Sarnia International SilverStick Boys Finals we go!!
