WMHA player and spectator policy at Canlan Oshawa. 

At any time while you are on Canlan property, Our staff are in charge, you must follow their direction or you will be asked to leave.

  • Masks MUST BE WORN at all times, this includes while in the dressing room and when you return back to the dressing room after your ice time.
  • Entrance into the facility is not permitted until 20 minutes before your ice time.
  • 4on4 is not a request, it is mandatory with potential removal of ice contract and no refund provided if not adhered to.
  • Anyone entering the facility MUST log into https://www.icesports.com/questions/ and complete the COVID-19 screening questionnaire.
  • All persons entering the building must sanitize their hands upon entry into the facility
  • Teams and spectators are not permitted to roam freely through the facility on their own.  A Canlan Ice Sports employee will guide and accompany you wherever you need to go.
  • Masks MUST be worn inside the dressing rooms
  • Alcohol Consumption anywhere on the property is strictly prohibited, inclusive of the parking lot and subject to the Zero Tolerance Policy (3 strike rule) or removal of contract with no refund provided. 
  • 24 skaters are allowed per ice surface
  • 1 spectator per skater is permitted for youth contracts and programming.
  • 12 socially distanced per dressing room – seated on social distancing decals.
  • NO showers or water-filling stations are available for use
  • Coaches and trainers need to ensure that players are remaining socially distanced on ice at all times including when taking a knee, taking a water break or running drills (in line and active skating) – COVID safe practice plans MUST be followed
  • Once you leave the rink you will not be permitted to re-enter for any reason– ensure you take all of your belongings
  • There are no restroom facilities available to the public or for those not entering the building.
