Bantam A Blue - Champions in Cobourg
The Bantam A Blue team have kicked off the 2014 to 2015 season in style winning the Cobourg Cougar Early Bird tournament earlier today (Sunday September 14th) and crowned CHAMPIONS.
In round robin play, the boys started out slow with a loss to Cobourg; however, picked it up in game 2 with a nice win against Burlington 4 to 2 and then played a great game against Napanee and came out on top 3 to 2 to place first in the division.
Whitby played Napanee again on Sunday winning the game 3 to 0 to take the Championship.
Great effort by everyone on the team....not a bad way to kick off the season.
