Buffalo Hockey AA Cup Champions!
The Atom AA Wildcats won the Buffalo Hockey AA Cup tournament this past weekend.  After finishing second overall in the round robin - having lost to Toronto Wolverines, the Wildcats then went on to beat the Halton Hills 4-2 in the semi's and then defeat the Toronto Wolverines 3-1 in the Championship game!
This tournament win is the third this season after winning the Belleville Pre-season Tilt in September and London Jr. Knights Green & White in November.

WHITBY SILVER STICK® HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
Gloria Rints Memorial International Silver Stick Tournament held in Whitby, Ontario hosting AAA Minor Finals & AA Minor Regional during November 26-29, 2015. This tournament is dedicated to Gloria Rints who passed away on September 23, 1994. Gloria was an active volunteer who served as President of the United Church Women's Auxiliary, Girl Guide Leader, and as President of the Brooklin-Whitby Minor Hockey Ladies Auxiliary. Always willing to put forth her best effort and dedication to any task, Gloria was appointed in 1986 by the Brooklin Whitby Minor Hockey Association as Co-Director for the Silver Stick, Jim Johnson Memorial and House League Tournaments. Working alongside her loving husband Delmer, they combined their benevolent efforts to create a lasting foundation for all future tournaments to be based upon. Gloria's buoyant, bubbly personality and the ability to work with others conveyed a positive "can do" attitude which guaranteed complete success with whatever project she undertook...

Dr Mark Poray Chiropractic and Sports Injuries
Dr. Poray is very involved in treating athletes. This includes professional, elite and national age group athletes in many sports. He has treated athletes at the Olympic and Pan Am Games as well as many world championships. He is the team chiropractor to the Toronto Rock professional lacrosse team, and the Brooklin Redmen senior “A” lacrosse club. He has been on the medical staff of many other teams including the Scarborough, Ajax and Whitby swim clubs, Team Impact wrestling club, the Scarborough Saints Jr., the Ajax Sr. lacrosse clubs and the Pickering Panthers Jr.”A” hockey club. He has contributed articles to professional journals and magazines as well as having been a frequent lecturer and associate clinician at the chiropractic college in Toronto. Dr. Poray has provided services to the Canadian Sports Centre. He is a Certified Kinesio-Taper (CKT), Sports Nutrition Specialist (SNS) (See our Nutrition Page) and holds a post-graduate diploma in sports medicine (ICCSP) from FICS (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic). Dr. Mark Poray completed his honors undergraduate degree in kinesiology at York University in 1975. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a doctor of chiropractic In 1985. During that time he won the Douglas Brown scholarship as well as the David Percival Award. He has been in practice in the east end of Toronto and Durham region since 1985. Dr. Poray utilizes what is known as a diversified technique. This means he is familiar with several styles and will use the one most appropriate for the patient. In the clinic he treats expectant mothers, athletes, and adults. He also treats seniors and children. For these patients he uses special gentle techniques and the Neuromechanical Impulse instrument(read more in that section).
