Whitby Midget Selects Win Big Again!
The Midget Selects won their second tournament of the season by defeating the West End Selects from Ottawa 3-1 to capture the West Hills Shamrock Tournament today. The Selects capped off an amazing season of hockey today with a 23-3-5 record, winning 2 tournaments, losing in the finals of a third and finishing up in a semi final in the 4th. An extremely strong record by any account. This was a mixed team of 2000 and 2001 players who gelled quickly as a team. The 2000's finished in style leaving next seasons team to be led by the 2001's. Thanks boys for all your hard work. What a team! Special thanks to Coaches Stephen Hill, Brent Woodward, Dave Couper and Rob Andrews for all their hard work and dedication.
