Tyler Hanson Memorial Ball Hockey Event
Submitted By April Finney on Monday, September 10, 2018
The Midget AAA will be given their first opportunity to give back to the community on Saturday September 29th.

Tyler Hanson was a young man who loved life, family, hockey and friends.  He lived in Port Perry, ON and played Rep hockey in his community.  In 2015 Tyler suffered a tragic accident and unfortunately passed away... he was only 12 years old.

The Tyler Hanson Memorial Ball Hockey Fundraiser Event is in it's 3rd year and going strong. This season, our team will be representing the Whitby Minor Hockey Association and will be playing against the Durham Regional Police Services (DRPS).

All proceeds go to Sick Kids Pediatric Accute Care Team along with splitting the proceeds 50/50 with Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham Region, two amazing and well deserving organizations. We are asking for a minimum of $10 from each player to contribute towards raising funds for both organizations.

We are looking forward to the boys having some fun in a relaxed environment with a chance to get to know each other and give back to the community.
