Novice A Blue Capture OMHA Red Hats
The 2018-19 Novice A Blue team capped off their season in style capturing an OMHA Championship on the main bowl at Irouquis Park Arena on Friday.
After a strong regular season the Wildcats entered the playoffs with optimism to continue their success in a long playoff run. After a successful round robin series with Oshawa and Peterborough and a hard fought semi-final against Clarington the finals were set with a Whitby vs. Whitby showdown. Facing a game and well coached A White squad the Novice A Blue team was able to prevail and take home an OMHA Championship to add to the Silver Stick Championship they had won earlier in the season. Your A Blue team will look to add more hardware to the trophy case when they suit up for a year ending tournament in East Gwillimbury over the first weekend of April.
