CRUSHERS split this weekend
After playing a hard fought 2-1 game on Saturday and losing to the strong Team 9 the CRUSHERS offence exploded on Sunday to enable the team to finish strong.
Thanks to the strategic game plan by Coach Martin, the CRUSHERS offence was inspired and the defence made everything look easy.
The team was led by the steady dependable athleticism of Martin between the pipes, who is looking like his father more and more during his illustrious career between the pipes of the X Men back in the 80s.
Delvecchio played a great game in the slot and had many opportunities with great feeds from Xiao and Fitzpatrick. Vallbacka and Chung played amazing on the back end with Cuddy and Nino blasting through the offense of the opponent.
A. Fitzpatrick's speed had great effects throughout the game with Stapley adding support. George has shifted to centre quite successfully and Sharland is improving in his position with each shift. Richards battled and played possessed with precision forechecking and pin-point passing to the slot.
The Coaching staff is very pleased at the CRUSHERS progress and they are peaking at the right time.
