Whitby Juvenile AAA gives back & "Sticks it to Cancer"
October 30th our team wanted to help out Team Emma We sold pink Team Emma tshirts at the door during our game and managed to raise over $900 to a very worthy cause.
Whitby's own, Emma Kenyon, is the fight of her life. Emma is six and was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (an aggressive bone cancer). Emma has already had 5 cycles of chemo and will have a major surgery on October 22nd to remove her humerus and shoulder and have her leg bone (Fibula) put in its place. Nicole and her husband Brad have 2 other children, Kylah and Cooper.
