As the 2024-25 season wraps up, WMHA is pleased to announce details for our 2025-2026 representative tryouts.
The OHF Freedom of Movement and Open Border Policy has resulted in changes to the WMHA tryout process.
All players interested in trying out for a WMHA Representative team must register through the Hockey Canada Registry (Spordle) - see links below.
Make sure your players Hockey Canada profile is up to date. Ensure you have the correct address on your player's profile, verified with a valid driver's license (upload in the documents section of your player's profile).
HCR NOTE - if you have not moved, be sure to click NO when asked if your address has changed.
Passports are priced per level - AAA, AA, A and B/BB.
Parents are strongly urged to commence evaluations at the level they want their child to make. No longer do players need to tryout at the level above.
Example: Player X wants to make a AA team, player X is encouraged to start at AA evaluations not AAA. Player X does not need to attend AAA evaluations. Cost to attend AA evaluations is $60. To attend both AAA and AA evaluations, the cost would be $120.
You can purchase one passport level (example AAA) and if the player is not successful, purchase the next level (AA) after the player's release from the higher level.
Anyone participating in the WMHA Representative tryouts must follow this process.
Rep tryout passports are available from April 2nd onward, through the WMHA website. Players must register for the specific level they wish to attend. If you are attending multiple levels of tryouts, you must purchase a passport for each level.
