How To Be A House League Sponsor

Thanks to our sponsor affiliations, Whitby Minor Hockey is able to keep their house league player registration fees affordable by offsetting costs of jerseys, ice-time and officials, and enables us to be a leader in developmental programs for its players and coaches.

About Sponsoring

Organized hockey began in Whitby in the early 1900s, and has been a proud member of the OMHA for over 75 years. Brooklin and Whitby hockey associations amalgamated in 1971. Whitby Minor Hockey Association’s unsurpassed reputation has grown extensively. The Association currently boasts a membership of approximately 3,100+ players that encompass approximately 158 house League teams (2550 players), 13 rostered select, and 45 representative teams (800 players).

The Association has a solid record of accomplishment in annually hosting major tournament events, including the OMHA’s House League Festival in April and a variety of representative tournaments during both the Canadian and American Thanksgiving weekends.

Whitby Minor Hockey offers an excellent opportunity for both small local businesses and larger corporate partners to gain access to our 3,100+ players and their families. We are looking for an opportunity to create long term partnerships that give you creative alternatives to market your business in the community, we aren’t simply looking for a donation.

If you are interested in a sponsorship package that not only supports athletes in your community, but will help build your brand and bring customers to your door, please contact Ted Gendron at Kidspired Media today!
