What a season for our U10 AAA team!
Congratulations to The Whitby Wildcats U10 AAA team who became OMHA Champions this past weekend and secured the coveted ‘Red Hat’.
After a scoreless first period, The Wildcats were relentless in the second and third period finishing the game with an 8-0 victory against the Niagara North Stars.
“When the moment came, they didn’t wait for it, they took it. And I couldn’t be more proud,” said coach Kris Versteeg.
The victory on Sunday completes an undefeated season of 43-0 for the Wildcats. The team also won the prestigious International Silver Stick tournament.
Congratulations to the players who played their hearts out all season long and showed a level of grit and determination well beyond their years.
