All new registrations (never played hockey before in any association) will need to provide a birth certificate and proof of residency (driver's licence) for their registration to be complete. The system will allow you to upload those documents at the time of registration.
Alternatively, you can send those documents to Kathy Andreoff at [email protected].
If you have moved into the WMHA area and have played hockey with another organization, please reach out to Sandra Perfetti at [email protected].
General Registration Information
If you are registering for a division that is full, your name will be recorded on a placement list and in sequence you will be assigned to a team on a first-come, first-serve basis based on availability.
No player may participate in any team activity until he or she is registered with the Association. Registration is not complete until all current and outstanding fees have been paid, including any fees to a Representative, Select or Development Stream (MD) team for the previous season from any member of the same family.
Respect In Sport
At least one parent from each family must complete the Parent Respect in Sport online course (one parent). Please note any player whose parent has not completed the course will not be assigned to a team. For more information and to complete the course click here.
Payments
Registration fees can be made online through the Hockey Canada Registration system using credit card only (Visa or MasterCard).
IMPORTANT: Cash and/or personal cheques will NOT be accepted.
Residency
Please note that false residency claims and claims that cannot be substantiated will result in forfeiture of full registration fees.
Three Year Old Player Eligibility
WMHA will be accepting a limited amount of 3 year old players in the 2024-25. Players must be born between January 1st and June 30th and able to handle on ice instruction to be considered.
