WMHA Refund Policy for 2025-26 Season
IMPORTANT:
·The e-mail address the parent lists during registration is the e-mail address WMHA uses to send out association wide communications.
·Refunds MUST be requested by completing the Refund Request Form on WMHA’s website.

House League Refund / Withdrawal

Prior to the start of hockey
|
Registration rate paid less $75 to cover credit card processing, registration system fees and administrative costs.

Up to October 31st
|
Refund will be calculated based on the registration total paid to date less $200
Once a player has skated WMHA has paid costs for the player which can not be refunded. These include the OMHA and Hockey Canada assessment and insurance fees, the player’s jersey and socks, credit card processing fee, registration system fees and administrative costs incurred to put your player on a team and organize their team’s ice schedule.

November 1st onwards

No refunds will be provided to players who voluntarily withdraw after November 1st, 2025 for any reason.

Representative Refund / Withdrawal
After player has accepted a spot on a representative team and registered with WMHA, there will be no refunds issued under any circumstance.
Unforeseen Cancellations
In the event that any of our programs are cancelled due to rink closures, storms, pandemics, floods, or any other reason beyond our control, WMHA will strive to hold the program either at a later date or alternative location. This will greatly depend on circumstances.
We are not responsible for such closures/cancellations.
WMHA Communications will be provided through our website and e-mail.
Refunds related to injuries/illnesses must be requested online through the website link and must be submitted within 30-days of the date of the injury. A copy of the doctor’s note must be provided to the WMHA, General Manger ([email protected]) before the refund can be issued.
No refunds will be granted under any circumstance after November 1st, 2025
No refund will be provided for a player removed from programming due to failure to comply with OHF/OMHA or WMHA Codes of Conduct.
All members of WMHA are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner, and observe all public health, OMHA, and facility polices at all times.
Our Code of Conduct, along with policies, procedures and rules outlined within all WMHA/OMHA/Hockey Canada documents, identifies the standard of behaviour which is expected of all Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) and WMHA members, including athletes, coaches, parents, directors, volunteers, staff, and others. Any breach of any policy, procedure, rule or other direction of the WMHA/OMHA/Hockey Canada may result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from all WMHA events.
No refunds will be provided for any time missed as a result of such disciplinary action.
