Print3rd Party Instructor

All WMHA Third-Party Instructors must follow the OHF steps as outlined below.

In addition to the below, all Third-Party Instructors must register with WMHA in the link below.  This registration completes Hockey Canada and WMHA waivers, as well as Rowan's Law.

WMHA Bench Staff Registration

Third-Party Instructors

Any individual that is providing instruction on-ice or off-ice to Players through Team, Association, Members or OHF programming sanctioned by Hockey Canada.

Process of Registration for Third-Party Instructors:

The Third-Party Instructor qualification is a new qualification in the HCR which indicates that the individual has completed their screening through the OHF, paid for Hockey Canada insurance, and completed the required Gender Identity and Expression Course, Respect in Sport – Activity Leader, and Rowan’s Law Waiver.

It is very likely that Third-Party Instructors will be providing services to several Associations. Associations are instructed to share that individual’s profile rather than changing the primary Association. This will ensure that the Third-Party Instructor can easily be rostered, and therefore provide services within several Associations throughout the year. There is no limit to the number of rosters a Third-Party Instructor can be added to.
