U10 A White – Andrew Frustaci
Hockey has always been a lifelong passion, and for the past seven consecutive years, Andrew has had the privilege of coaching with WMHA, working with players from U7 to U13. A D1 Trained Coach working towards his D1 Certification, Andrew is dedicated to continuously learning and adapting to support each player’s growth, with the goal of instilling a strong work ethic, passion, and respect for the game. At the U10 level, Coach Frustaci’s focus is on building the fundamentals of skill development, positional play, and hockey sense, while ensuring every player has equal opportunities to learn and contribute during games. He wants each player to feel valued, build friendships, and most importantly, have fun. Andrew understands the importance of supporting your child’s growth, and is committed to creating a positive, enjoyable experience for both the players and their families. Open communication is a priority, and Andrew is committed to ensure everyone works together to support your child's Wildcats journey.
U10 A Blue – Mark Bannan
Mark has been coaching in Whitby for over 7 years at two age groups through House League, MD, A and AA skill levels. Mark is D1 certified and strongly believes in creating an environment for players to feel confident and encouraged while pursuing their passion for hockey. Players will learn how to be good teammates, hardworking athletes, and respectful opponents, all while having fun and consistently improving their skill set. He focuses on building a strong foundation of technical hockey skills, which allows players to transition smoothly into team tactics and strategies. He prioritizes a team first environment centered around hard work, discipline, fun and consistent communication of expectations. Mark believes success in the league standings is a byproduct of development, and he is a huge proponent of development throughout the entire season.
