U16 A Blue – Chris Casola
With seven seasons coaching the WMHA 2011 age group, Chris brings experience, structure, and a clear vision for team development, most recently as an assistant coach with the 2011 A Blue team. While he believes in keeping hockey fun, he places a strong emphasis on building hard-working, responsible teams grounded in strong communication, respect, and accountability. His high-tempo, detail-oriented practices focus on discipline in all zones, skill development, and elevating hockey IQ, creating well-rounded athletes who understand teamwork, dedication, and defined roles within a competitive environment. He also prioritizes community involvement, helping players develop leadership, responsibility, and pride beyond the rink.
U16 A White – Jon Anthony
Jon has been a dedicated member of Whitby Minor Hockey for many years, contributing his time and leadership behind the bench for more than a dozen teams over the past decade. His experience spans multiple age groups and levels, giving him a strong understanding of player development and team dynamics. Jon believes firmly in a team-first approach, emphasizing accountability, work ethic, and respect both on and off the ice. He is committed to creating a positive, competitive environment where players are challenged to grow, support one another, and take pride in representing their team.
