U13 B – Ryan Steane
With over seven years behind the bench and a playing career that spans more than three decades across Ontario, Ryan has spent most of his life at the rink. His approach to coaching is simple: prioritize player development and make sure the kids actually enjoy coming to the arena every day. A firm believer that success starts with a work-horse mentality and a team-first attitude, all while keeping sportsmanship and fair play at the center of everything the team does. For Ryan, coaching is about more than just X’s and O’s; it’s about the pride in mentoring young athletes and helping them grow into great young men off the ice, too. Ryan loves being a part of this hockey community and takes a lot of pride in representing Whitby—and he expects his players to wear the jersey with that same level of respect.
