Year End Message from the President
Submitted By Jaclyn Morden on Tuesday, March 28, 2017
Thank You for Another Great Season! With the House league Championship weekend coming to a close and the last remaining Rep playoffs games, I would like to send out a note to thank everyone for a great year.

To the players and families, you are what makes this association great.  Your hard work and dedication continues to build a successful and competitive hockey program and allows us to accomplish great things; and not just winning championships.  This year we have done some tremendous things for our own community to benefit from!  We have our annual equipment swap in August that continues to be a strong event in the community outfitting many players head to toe in gear, we continue to have volunteers do an annual toy drive for those families in need and this year had our first Pink in the Rink Event where we raised $33,403.40 for Hearth Place and had the opportunity to have a cheque presentation ceremony yesterday on Pad 4.  It's these types of events and outpouring of generosity that makes us an exceptional hockey association.  Thank you!

I would also like to take this time to thank our volunteers - our coaches, benchstaff, conveyors and board members, for the countless hours you all invest into making sure all the players and families can have a great season.  Not many realize the amount of time and effort each of you put into this but I would like to say thank you.

A few items to keep in mind over the next few weeks:
- Our registration for next season opens on April 1st so watch our website for more information on fees and registration dates;
- Our rep tryouts will be starting on April 10th so make sure to register and get your tryout passports on the website.

WMHA should be very proud of all its accomplishments this season.  Thank you to all and have a safe and enjoyable summer.

See you next season.
Robert Keast
President, WMHA
