Attention all Team Officials (HL and Rep) - New Mandatory Course Requirements (it is free!)
Submitted By Jaclyn Morden on Monday, August 21, 2017
The Ontario Hockey Federation has rolled a new mandatory online course for all team officials that can be accessed through your eHockey account in the Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) system related to Gender Identity and Gender Expression.  Completion of this course is required to be approved to a team roster for the 2017-18 season, at both the house league and representative levels.

All team officials will require an eHockey account in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) in order to register for and complete the two Modules related to gender identity/expression and dressing room policies.  Once completed, notification will be posted to the team officials’ member profile on the HCR.

For those who do not already have an eHockey account can click the following link to sign up:

Please click on the link below to be directed to the OHF landing page for more information on the training and to course registration (no costs).  www.ohf.on.ca/view/ohfmainsite/team-officials/gender-identity-training.  This link directs you “to register please click here”.
This course is in addition to the other requirements for being a team official, including up to date criminal reference check (CIR), the Respect in Sport – Activity Leader online course, and your coaching or trainer credentials.
