Midget Select Program
Submitted By Sandra Perfetti on Friday, June 1, 2018
“Whitby is happy to notify the membership that our House League Select program will be in full force again this coming season (2018/2019) with teams at each age group up to and including our Midget aged players.

This group is our only multi aged one in Select and will be made up with players coming from the 2001/2002 age groups this year.

The program typically runs from October to March where the teams play a maximum of 3 games per month and can participate in 3 tournaments with a possibility for a fourth. All of this is on top of the usual House League schedule.

Each team runs a budget that will cost each player on average between $800 and $1000 which again, is on top of any HL fees that are paid. Games are typically booked with other Lakeshore teams but with approvals, games can be booked with teams from the GTHL, NYHL, Alliance and other associations. It is a fantastic program that focuses on the team having great times at the rink while also developing their hockey skills further.

If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to contact Rob Andrews at [email protected] as he has been with the program since it’s inception and can answer any questions you might have about the program.
