Notice of WMHA AGM - June 5, 2019

Please join us for our AGM.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday June 5, 2019. Voter registration will commence at 5:30 pm and run until 7:00 pm. The meeting will start promptly at 7pm. Late registrations may not be accepted.

Location: 
Multi-purpose Room – Abilities Centre 
55 Gordon Street, 
Whitby, Ontario L1N 0J2

Agenda to Include:
• Approval of the minutes of the 2018 annual general meeting of the Membership;
• Reports of the activities of the Association during the preceding year;
• Information regarding the planned activities of the Association for the current year;
• Receipt and approval of the report of the Auditor of the Association from the previous year and a projected financial position for the current year;
• Appointment of the Auditor for the ensuing year;
• Consideration of proposed amendments to the By-laws of the Association
• Election of the new Board; and
• Any related new business.

WMHA is accepting nominations for the 2019/20 Board of Directors. Please note that certain Board roles have minimum criteria/experience in order to be considered.

All nomination forms must be received on or before April 21, 2019 at 7pm. 

Acknowledgements will be sent to all nominees indicating receipt of the nomination form. If you require additional information please send an email to [email protected] or contact the Whitby Minor Hockey Association 500 Victoria Street West, Whitby, Ontario, L1N 9G4, telephone number 905-444-9642.

All received nominations will be posted on the Association’s website prior to the WMHA AGM.
