UPDATE - Congratulations to Wildcat Alumni!

Great things happening for Whitby Wildcat Alumni!

WMHA is proud to acknowledge the accomplishments of our recent alumni.

Jamie Darlison
 (2005) was selected by the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

Dante Siciliano (2005) was selected by the Kingston Frontenacs in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

James Johnson (2004) was selected by the Soo Greyhounds first round, 3rd overall in the 2021 OHL U18 Draft.

Zennon Edwards (2004) was selected by the Owen Sound Attack first round, 11th overall in the 2021 OHL U18 Draft.

Carter Bickle (2004) was selected by the Oshawa Generals first round, 18th overall in the 2021 OHL U18 Draft.

Garrett Joss (2004) was selected by the Sudbury Wolves in the second round, 35th overall in the 2021 OHL U18 Draft.

Brenden Sirizzotti (2003) has been identified on the final NHL Central Scouting list for the 2021 NHL Draft.  He currently plays for the OHL Ottawa 67's.

Ryan Winterton (2003) represented Canada at the IIHF U18 World Championships in Plano, Texas, bringing home the gold!  Ryan is a current member of the OHL Hamilton Bulldogs and is eligible for the 2021 NHL draft later this summer.  Ryan was ranked on the final NHL Central Scouting list.

Cole Perfetti (2002) won gold with Canada at the IIHF Men's World Championship in Riga, Latvia.  Cole was drafted 10th overall and signed with the Winnipeg Jets in October, won silver with Canada at the IIHF U20 Worlds in December and spent the season playing for the AHL's Manitoba Moose.  Cole was named AHL Rookie of the month in April.  Cole is a current member of the OHL's Saginaw Spirit.

Ryan O'Rourke (2002) was a Minnesota Wild second round NHL draft pick this past October.  After a successful season playing in the AHL with the Iowa Wild, Ryan signed his NHL entry level contract earlier this spring.  Ryan is the current captain of the OHL's Soo Greyhounds

Blake Murray (2001) signed his NHL entry level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes, after spending the last COVID season playing in Sweden.  Blake was selected in the 6th round of the 2019 NHL draft and is a current member of the OHL's Sudbury Wolves.

Luke Pearson (2001) after playing in the BCHL for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs the past 2 seasons, Luke has committed to Yale University starting in September. Luke won the MVP award for Alberni, and he also received the award for the Top Goalie in the league's Island Pod.

Jonah Gadjovich (1998)  had an excellent season in the AHL with the Utica Comets before being called up to make his NHL debut with the Vancouver Canucks.  Jonah was drafted in the second round by the Vancouver Canucks in 2017.  Jonah also represented Canada at the U20 World Championships in 2018-19.
