House League Registration Closing Soon

There is still space to register for the 2021-22 season!

Don't miss out on getting back in the game!

Players need to register by October 1st, 2021 to guarantee their spot!!


Our registration rate for the 2021-22 season is $575 per player.

Representative players will incur additional fees to be paid directly to their team once tryouts have been completed.

Registration credits from 2020-2021 season

If you elected to apply your rebate from the 20-21 season as a credit for the 2021-22 season your credit will appear in the new registration system.

***IF YOU HAVE A CREDIT FROM LAST SEASON AND ARE REGISTERING MORE THAN ONE PLAYER, PLEASE REGISTER THEM IN 2 SEPARATE TRANSACTIONS TO ENSURE YOU GET THE CREDIT FOR BOTH PLAYERS***


RETURNING TO PLAY IN WMHA

Returning players must register online through the NEW Hockey Canada Registration System (HCR 3.0). 

Please review the video link below for instruction on how to create your new HCR account.  The user name and password from the previous version of the HCR will not work.

NEW TO WMHA

All new registrants must provide copy of proof of player age (birth certificate/passport) as well as residency.


Currently we have restricted access to our WMHA office at Iroquois Park Arena and we are not able to process in person registrations.

WMHA takes pride in providing the opportunity for all players to participate in various levels of hockey, consistent with each player’s level of skill and interest. 

HOUSE LEAGUE (RECREATIONAL) DETAILS

The House League program is intended to offer players from the U5 to U21 age groups with the opportunity to play recreational, non-contact hockey.

The WMHA House League program is open to Whitby residents as well as  players from the surrounding communities.  

There are no tryouts and all players receive an equal amount of ice time, without regard to ability or experience.

Each player is assigned a team in the appropriate age division with games and practices scheduled weekly.

The cost for our program for the 2021-22 season is $575 per player. 

START DATE - OCTOBER 16TH/17TH

END DATE - LATE MARCH TIMEFRAME (DEPENDENT ON FACILITY BLACK OUT WEEKENDS)




General Registration Information 

If you are registering for a division that is full, your name will be recorded on a placement list and in sequence you will be assigned to a team on a first-come, first-serve basis based on availability. 

No player may participate in any team activity until he or she is registered with the Association.  Registration is not complete until all current and outstanding fees have been paid, including any fees to a Representative, Select or Development Stream (MD) team for the previous season from any member of the same family. 

Respect In Sport 
At least one parent from each family must complete the Parent Respect in Sport online course (one parent). Please note any player whose parent has not completed the course will not be assigned to a team. For more information and to complete the course click here. 

Payments 
Registration fees can be made online through the Hockey Canada Registration system using credit card only (Visa or MasterCard). 

IMPORTANT: Cash and/or personal cheques will NOT be accepted.  

Residency
Please note that false residency claims and claims that cannot be substantiated will result in forfeiture of full registration fees


Three Year Old Player Eligibility 
WMHA will be accepting a limited amount of 3 year old players in the 2021-22.  Players must be born between January 1st and June 30th and able to handle on ice instruction to be considered.
