Reminder 2022-23 Registration is NOW OPEN
Submitted By Sandra Perfetti on Sun 07 03, 22
WMHA Registration for the 2022-23 season is now OPEN!

WMHA takes pride in providing the opportunity for all players to participate in various levels of hockey, consistent with each player’s level of skill and interest.

Our registration cost for the 2022-23 season is $575 per player.

A $60 credit for the 2021-22 season will automatically be deducted for all House League players that were registered with WMHA last year.  This is a result of missed programming in January 2022 due to the Provincial COVID shut down.

Any player who has aged out (2004) or physically moved from Whitby will be issued a refund cheque.

Returning players must register online through the Hockey Canada Registration System (HCR 3.0).

Please review the video link below for instruction on how to create your new HCR account.

All new registrations (never played hockey before in any association) will need to provide a birth certificate and proof of residency (driver's licence) for their registration to be complete.  The system will allow you to upload those documents at the time of registration.

Alternatively, you can send those documents to Kathy Andreoff at [email protected]

If you have moved into the WMHA area and have played hockey with another organization, please reach out to Sandra Perfetti at [email protected]

General Registration Information

If you are registering for a division that is full, your name will be recorded on a placement list and in sequence you will be assigned to a team on a first-come, first-serve basis based on availability.

No player may participate in any team activity until he or she is registered with the Association.  Registration is not complete until all current and outstanding fees have been paid, including any fees to a Representative, Select or Development Stream (MD) team for the previous season from any member of the same family.

Respect In Sport
At least one parent from each family must complete the Parent Respect in Sport online course (one parent). Please note any player whose parent has not completed the course will not be assigned to a team. For more information and to complete the course click here.

Registration fees can be made online through the Hockey Canada Registration system using credit card only (Visa or MasterCard).

IMPORTANT: Cash and/or personal cheques will NOT be accepted.

Please note that false residency claims and claims that cannot be substantiated will result in forfeiture of full registration fees.

Three Year Old Player Eligibility
WMHA will be accepting a limited amount of 3 year old players in the 2022-23.  Players must be born between January 1st and June 30th and able to handle on ice instruction to be considered.
