WMHA Representative FAQ
What are Prep Skates?
Prep Skates are designed to get players back on ice after the conclusion of their Rep or HL seasons to prepare them for Rep Evaluations (Tryouts). Prep Skates are not mandatory and do not include any form of evaluation.
Players interested in Prep Skates should attend the age group they will be participating in for the 2023 season. For example, 2014 born players attend the U10 Prep Skates based on their surname. For the Prep Skate schedule please click here.
What do I need to attend Rep Evaluations (Tryouts)?
Families interested in Rep Evaluations are required to register with WMHA and purchase an Evaluation Passport. Registration and the Evaluation Passports will be made available on the WMHA website on April 1st.
Please note the Evaluation Passport is not refundable. Families requesting a WMHA Registration refund will be subject to an Administrative fee.
An Evaluation Schedule will also be posted on the website on April 2nd.
On the first day of Rep Evaluations each family should bring with them proof of purchase of their WMHA Registration and  Evaluation Passport. At this time, each player will receive a helmet sticker to identify them during the evaluation period.
What level of Rep Evaluations do I attend?
Players are encouraged to start the evaluations at or one level above the level they would like to play. Exclusions for existing Rep players will be noted on the Evaluation schedule for the first evaluation only.
AAA - Start at AAA
AA - Start at AAA or AA
A - Start at AA or A
BB - Start at A or BB
How do I know if I am to return for the next day of Evaluations?
