WMHA is pleased to partner with the Durham Family Advisory Board to introduce the 'Hockey for All Initiative.'
The combined efforts of Durham’s Family Advisory Board and WMHA's Hockey for All Initiative is to bring youth to the game of hockey by addressing obstacles which include dismantling financial barriers, promoting inclusivity, and ensuring that all children, regardless of economic background, can access the physical, mental, and social benefits of sports participation.
Through the Hockey for All Initiative, players who qualify financially will have equipment provided to them at no cost, and the cost of registration covered.
WMHA is looking for the support of all of its members to support this very important endeavour by participating in the Durham Family Advisory Board Golf Classic being held on Tuesday June 25th at Deer Creek Golf Course.
Funds raised at this golf tournament will be used to support the Hockey for All Initiative.
