In the days ahead team logistics will be provided to the above head coaches, reviewing all preseason preparations and team selection criteria. In addition, WMHA will  be amending its Rules of Operation to include provisions specific to Selects. The amended Rules of Operation will be posted shortly.

Team selections will begin shortly. There are no formal tryouts for selects. Teams are selected based on observations of the head coaches.

In the age groups which conduct tiering evaluation skates(Novice - Peewee) teams will be picked in part based on head coach observations at evaluation skates. As such, any individuals in those age divisions who are interested in playing selects are strongly encouraged to attend their tiering evaluation skates. In Tyke 6 and 7 and the Minor Bantam through Minor Midget age groups, coaches will select teams based on early season games and practices and any available player  evaluations that were completed last season.  Dates of evaluation skates will be posted shortly so please return here to confirm when your player will be on the ice.
