Silver Medal for Minor Peewee AA in Pittsburgh
The WMHA Minor Peewee AA team played a fantastic and energetic tournament this past weekend in Pittsburgh taking home a silver medal and second place trophy.
Whitby finished second in the division and found themselves facing the 2002 Canton Victory Honda AA in the finals. A great final game, with a 2-2 tie at the end of the third period, taking them into a four-on-four sudden death overtime. Still in a tie following OT, a shoot out was needed to decide the game. Unfortunatley, we fell short in the shoot out losing 3-1.
Our boys should be proud of a tournament well played. Rest up boys, Tim Hickman tournament in London is just around the corner!
