Thank you Minor Bantam AA Boys!!
This Past Friday Dec. 12, the Whitby Minor Bantam AA boys and some parent "Elf" helpers, shopped for our "adopted" Christmas Family, through St. Marks United Church, Whitby.
Together, they created a very special Christmas for their "Family". From the Toys and clothes for under the tree, diapers and necessities, a beautiful Christmas Dinner with all the fix' ins, and to the extra food items, to bring them through the holidays.
This is our third annual event, and the boys and their families look forward to doing this every year.
Having our boys participate , and do the shopping together, gives them an experience and the fullfillment of what Christmas , and the gift of giving is truly about. These are life experiences, that will be remembered forever.
