Just want to take a moment to let all of you know that you played a great game today. This was a solid team effort from forwards, defence and our goalie. Ryan in net was outstanding, making some big key saves. We have our final Championship Weekend on the 19th and 20th - so team, if you have plans with your girlfriends, cancel them!! See you all next week.

Yellowjackets, what a great team win today! There was so many good things happening - Ryan: rock solid in goal, Brady: Amazing blue line play, Kyle: Passing and scoring!, Marcus: Nice elbows.. lol. Luke: Holding down the blue line... I could go on and on... Everyone really contributed to a solid team win. The defence played their position and were there to help out the goalie. Forwards were aggressive and passing really well. Keep it up team, can't wait for next week!!

Wow, what a game today. We pulled out a real nail biter today coming on top of a 8-7 win. There were lots of good moments during the game, Kyle backchecking hard and using his body to block shots! Adrien D was a wall on the blue line today!! Marcus was dangle, snipe and celly all game today!! And despite the high score Luke made some real big saves today!! As such he earned the player of the game! He is only our second player to win two games in a row as goalie. Great job today a real team effort.

Great win by the Yellowjackets this weekend! All of Ethan's hard work paid off and he scored his first goal! He was given the game puck as a souvenir. Great work Ethan!! Also, Luke was solid in net and his team gave him lots of support in our own end. 

Sorry the updates have been a bit lacking... Ill try to keep it up to date with more consistency. Congratulations go to Araiz as this weeks Player of the Game. We have been working on watching our offsides and he did a great job of making sure that he was onside for the entire game. Not only that but Araiz was back checking really hard this game, the coaching staff all noticed this extra effort. Araiz was also dropping down and blocking shots like he played for the New York Rangers!! Great game Araiz, well deserved.

Great Job by Adrian D - Winning POTG! His hard work and effort paid off in helping a great team win. He was hard to the puck all game long and helped out his goalie preserve the win, our second in a row! Great hard work Adrian, it really paid off.

Yellowjackets - Oshawa General night is Sunday, November 29th @ 2:05pm. If you want to be part of the team event I need your ticket money by NOVEMBER 14th. Please make sure that you give me your ticket money after practice on Saturday. There is no promise of tickets if we wait any longer than that. I know a a few parents want tickets. Ill send an email out as well, but please have your money in for Saturday. As this is a team event, the kids are encouraged to wear their team jersey to the game. Thanks everyone. Blair
