Silver Swords Win Silver!
During the weekend of December 4-6,
the Whitby Minor Atom Team 12 (“Silver Swords”) participated in the Bradford
Bulldogs Blue & Gold Tournament in the HL/LL Division. It was a
thrill for the kids to be playing “road games” and competing against some tough
competition from Barrie, London, and Oakville. After going 3-0 during
round robin play, the Silver Swords won a nail-biting semi-final 4-3.
Although not able to bring home the gold in the finals, the team played
exceptionally well and had a ton of fun winning Silver! A big thank you
from the coaching staff to all the parents for all the cheering and the players
for giving it their all!
