White, 2016-2017, MD (Whitby Minor Hockey)

On Sunday December 18th the Whitby Minor PeeWee AAA alongside the Whitby MD7 White team handed over ~ 160 toys to the Whitby Fire Department for the Durham Region Toy Drive.  The Whitby Minor PeeWee AAA team was hosting the Kingston Minor PeeWee AAA team. In an amazing gesture of sportsmanship and community - every member of the Kingston team brought with them a toy to donate.  We are so proud of boys from all 3 teams for coming together to canvas for toys to bring some more Christmas Cheer to those less fortunate. The Whitby MD7 White team along with the Minor PeeWee AAA team would like to thank everyone that came out to our Family and Friends Skate on December 3rd at Vipond.

The Whitby MD7 White and the Minor PeeWee AAA Teams have paired up for a 2016/2017 Season's Mentorship Program. The two teams met on Friday night for some team building/bonding and for the boys to meet their mentor/mentee. It was a great night filled with a little competition, a lot of laughs and the start of some new friendships. Throughout the season the members of the Minor PeeWee AAA team will be coming to help out at MD7 practices. The MD7 White boys came out to cheer on the Whitby Fury in their 5-4 DOUBLE OT Win against the Stouffville Spirit! It was a great game to watch and the boys had an awesome time! Special thanks to The Whitby Fury Players, Bench Staff and Support Staff for giving our boys an awesome experience!
