Minor Peewee, 2016-2017, Rep (Whitby Minor Hockey)

CONGRATULATIONS to the Whitby Minor Peewee Select Team who won the Barrie Pro Oil Change Tournament over the weekend and beat the host team 3-2 in a very competitive and hard fought championship game on Sunday (April 2).   The team had 3 wins and 1 loss (to Barrie's 4-0 record) before the Wildcats sighted their revenge on their opponents in the finals.  It was a very tense last 3 minutes of the 3rd period, but the team overcame their challenge and held Barrie off to win the game!  Congratulations also goes out to the Barrie team for a great run and to the BMHA for hosting a well organized ...

Congratulations! to the Whitby Minor Peewee Select team for winning the S.H.A. Don Montgomery Memorial Tournament yesterday (Jan. 15th) as they beat up the Scarborough Ice Raiders 7-1 in the Championship game.  The team outplayed all of their opponents and were the only team to go undefeated in their division, winning their games 6-1, 8-0 and 6-3 before making it to the finals against the host team.  Excellent job guys!!
