Minor Midget, 2016-2017, Rep (Whitby Minor Hockey)

The Minor Midget Selects concluded their season this past weekend in Barrie with an overall team record of 25-6-1. Besides regular season play, the Wildcats entered 4 tournaments as well and had an outstanding record with 2 Semi Final appearances and 2 Championship appearances, winning 1 of these.  They played some amazing hockey and had a great time with their team mates doing it. It was a memorable season for all involved. The boys will be looking forward to next season where they plan to continue their strong play in Select hockey.

The Whitby Minor Midget selects went undefeated in the Orangeville Selects hockey tournament January 6-8 and brought home another Championship for Whitby with a 3-2 victory over tough competition from Peterborough Petes. The Selects showed some great character and determination throughout the tournament. Go Selects!!!

The Minor Midget Selects are continuing their strong play having won their last three games against Markham, Barrie and Oshawa to sit at a 7-2 record. Coupled with a strong Semi Final finish at their first tournament, the team continues to work hard and is looking forward to the remainder of their season. Keep up the strong effort Selects!

The Minor Midget Selects started their season with a hard fought win over visiting Ajax Knights. Congratulations Whitby on your efforts. The team is looking forward to an excellent season of fun and great hockey. GO SELECTS!!!
