Select 7 Team 2, 2016-2017, Rep (Whitby Minor Hockey)

Kayle Shorts Whitby Select 7 team registered its 4th victory in as many starts over the weekend with a hard fought 4-3 victory over a Select team from Oshawa.  After impressive wins against Stouffville and Peterborough the boys were in tough against the hard working group from Oshawa.  Strong play at both ends of the ice helped preserve the win.  It was especially gratifying for the coaching staff to see the kids conditioning and skill execution after hours of on ice training.  Next up for the team is a home game vs Peterborough on Saturday!   

Boys played their first game last night against the Oshawa Falcons and came away with a 6-1 victory.  Score was tight until the 3rd period before our boys scored 5 unanswered and pulled away.  It was a total team effort with great work and passing at both ends of the ice.  Next up for the team is a practice Monday November 20th, 6 pm at Legends pad 2.
