Whitby Blue Starts Strong
The Minor Atom A Blue team started the season well this weekend with 2 wins against Pickering and Clarington.
On Saturday afternoon our Wildcats hosted the Panthers at Iroquois Park and came away with very good win against a strong team from Pickering. After taking a 2-0 lead early, Pickering battled back and tied the game at 2 at the beginning of the third period. Our guys kept up the intensity and with 59 seconds left we scored our 3rd goal which finally decided the game.
​Sunday saw our team in Clarington at South Courtice Arena. Our players played very well as a team, and were able to walk away with a solid win against Toros.
