Vaughan Kings Classic Finalists
The Wildcats were finalists in the inaugural Vaughan Kings Classic powered Biosteel!!!!The team finished the round robin undefeated and with the #1 seed heading to the quarter finals. They defeated North Central 7-1, EMC 2-1, the host Vaughan Kings 5-2 and the West Seneca Wings 8-0. In the quarter finals the boys defeated the Toronto Red Wings 3-1 and followed that with a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Nationals in the semi's. That put the Cats in the finals against the #2 team in the province, the London Jr Knights. The two teams have had many memorable games over the years and this finals was no different. The team fought hard but came up on the short end of a 4-2 final. Congrats to the Knights and the Wildcats!!!
