Minor Atom, 2016-2017, AE (Whitby Minor Hockey)

Your Minor Atom AE Wildcats had a very strong weekend of hockey and took the Championship at Oshawa Minor's HockeyFest! The team played some of their best hockey of the season and went unbeaten for the tournament against strong competition from the Aurora Tigers, Markham Waxers and TNT Tornados, all new competitors for our boys.  Sunday saw them play the Waxers in the Semi and the Tornados in the Final for 5-0 wins in both games. Keep up the great work Wildcats, your improvement is impressive!

Your Minor Atom AE Wildcats travelled to Detroit over U.S. Thanksgiving to compete against American teams in the 2016 Nations Cup - pitting Canada vs. the U.S. with both sides looking to claim the cup for their country.  The team excitedly donned Team Canada jerseys for a great weekend of hockey and fun down in Detroit!

Your Minor Atom AE Wildcats had a perfect start to their season this week! After watching the boys battle the Orangeville Flyers in the final of Orangeville's Fall Classic, it was hard to believe the team only hit the ice for the first time 5 days ago...an impressive first week as a team!
