THANKSGIVING CHAMPS!
What a weekend! Competitive teams and great hockey! Whitby Minor Peewee triumphs with a Gold!

Friday was the start of a great weekend of hockey. Battling 2 tough teams (Metcalfe Jets and The Rockland Crush), the Whitby teams battled and came through with 2 ties (3-3, 0-0). Holding our breath the boys knew a win was needed. Saturday morning placed us against the Kitchener Red team, the boys fought hard and came out winning 2-1. This followed with a final win of 2-0 against Belleville. Unsure of who would end up in the finals, we met with Kitchener after the Crush took out Metcalfe. 
The final was a nail biter, with our Goalie Kaplan Ishwaran making save after save! The Kitchener team was out for a win, but both teams were able to stop all goals, ending in a 0-0 tie. With no extra periods it went to a straight 5 on 5 player shoot out! First players 1 Kitchener, 0 Whitby; 2 Players 0 Kitchener; 3rd players 0 Whitby, 0 Kitchner; 4th players 1 Whitby, 0 Kitchener; 5th players 1 Whitby, 1 Kitchener---WHITBY WINS!!!!!!!
