Novice, 2017-2018, AAA (Whitby Minor Hockey)

Tonight the Novice AAA Team clinched their spot in the OMHAs being held in Oakville March 16th-18th.  The first round of playoffs saw the boys from Whitby face the always challenging Clarington Toros. They fought hard to a 3 game victory. The second round was against a fast and well developed team from York Simcoe. With the third win tonight in front of a home crowd of fans, the team will move onto the OMHA weekend. The Whitby Novice AAA team brought home some Golden Hardware from the September 15-17th Ottawa Gold Rush Tournament. After going undefeated in the round robin - the Whitby boys faced some tough competition against Richmond Hill in the semis. Battling through a 2-1 victory - they then faced the home-town favourites - the Gloucester Rangers in the final. The boys were victorious and earned 38 goals for and 8 against in a total of 6 games in the tournament. Super proud of how the boys showed up both on and off the ice!
