Rockets Gain Confidence With A Solid Game
Whitby, ON - Rockets and Crushers played a spirited contest this morning in front of a raucous crown on Pad 2 at IPSC. The early morning start didn't seem to phase either team as both teams came out flying.
It was a solid team effort this morning as your Rockets skated with the Crushers and displayed some great end-to-end action. The Rockets had to make sure they skated hard for the game's entirety as the Crusher team has shown that it never gives up.
Rocket forward Kyle B managed to notch a 'hatty' with strong support from his linemates. Forwards Jasmin A and Noah C had some great chemistry together and were passing really well...Jack G had a solid game supported by Adam O and Trey O...solid back checking by Grant (stack the pads) B and Riann C helped the defence.
Defenceman Michael F had a great game making plays at both ends of the ice and more importantly showed some great sportsmanship in the contest. Ciaran S, Drew C and Gavin G also worked hard today in front of goalie Reid O who also showed some great sportsmanship, making sure the surging Crushers offence was kept on their toes.
The Rockets coaching staff is extremely proud of this group of kids both on and off the ice and want to thank the parents for their support getting them out to the practices. We hope you enjoy the next couple of weeks off to catch up on your weekend sleep! Go Rockets!!!!
