Novice Blue, 2015-2016, A (Whitby Minor Hockey)

Thanksgiving Weekend saw Novice A Blue at home in Whitby to compete in the Edge Again Cup. The boys worked hard in the Round Robin ending with a perfect 4-0 record.

The Wildcats Novice A Blue team emerged victorious in the Richmond Hill Stars Early Bird Tournament played September 18-20. Whitby finished the round robin with a record of 3-1 to take second place in their pool. Sunday morning saw a semi final game against the Oakville Rangers.  The Wildcats jumped out to a 4-0 lead and moved onto the finals with a 5-3 win. The finals saw a rematch with the Nepean Raiders, who handed Whitby their round robin loss.  In a fast paced and physical final (even for gap toothed 7/8 year olds), the score was tied going into the 3rd.  Whitby dug deep and scored ...
