Minor PeeWee, 2016-2017, AAA (Whitby Minor Hockey)

On December 18th, the Whitby MD7 White and Minor Peewee AAA teams donated over 160 toys to the Whitby Fire Department in support of their Durham Region Toy Drive.  The "official" hand off took place at a game between Minor Peewee AAA Whitby Wildcats vs Kingston Frontenacs.  Special thanks to Barrett Moore for singing our anthem, to the members of the Fire Department in attendance and to the Kingston Frontenacs for their heartwarming support.  We would also like to thank our mentee team, MD7 White, for being such great partners.  Together, we have made a difference this Christmas for kids who ...

The Whitby Minor Peewee AAA and MD7 White team held a friends & family skate in support of their Christmas Toy Drive last night.  Thanks to all who came out and supported us!  The official toy drive and hand off to the fire dept will be at our game on Sunday December 18th vs Kingston at 4:45.  Please feel free to join us that day!

The goal of our mentorship program is to promote leadership skills and increase team chemistry.  At our kick off meeting, players from each team were paired.  They spent some time getting to know each other and then participated in a few whole team activities. We look forward to more opportunities to connect our mentorship pairings at practices and games throughout the season.
