Minor Bantam White, 2016-2017, A (Whitby Minor Hockey)

After much hard work and dedication, the Whitby Wildcats Minor Bantam A White Team are the 2016/17 Lakeshore League Champions!! Taking on the Uxbridge Stars, who were very determined and a fast paced team, the boys played as a team and swept the series in three straight!!! The coaches and parents are all very proud of our team this season.  They are truly young men of great character, demonstrated by their hard work and commitment. Congratulations to our coaches, parents, sponsors and of course our players for a fantastic year!

After hard work and commitment, the Whitby Wildcats Minor Bantam A White team are on their way to the Lakeshore FINALS!! After beating Kingston and Whitby Blue in the Quarters, the boys entered the Lakeshore Semis in a round robin against Port Perry and Oshawa.  Although getting knocked out by Oshawa in the OMHA Playdowns, the boys fought back and through their dedication and that of the coaches, they knocked out Port Perry and Oshawa to advance to the Lakeshore Finals. Well done boys!! GO WILDCATS GO!!!

Congratulations to the Minor Bantam A White Team on winning all 5 games at the Nations Cup in Detroit, MI this past weekend to assist Canada in winning our division. Congratulations to the players, coaches and parents for an awesome tournament!
